Antique rose cut diamond and platinum engagement ring
You know when you come across something really special and you get that butterfly feeling in your stomach? Well, thats the feeling I had when I came across this antique rose cut diamond.
This exquisite one of a kind rose cut antique diamond had previously been set in a half original setting and was begging to be transformed and given the respect and love that it so duly deserved, especially since it had survived for over 150 years.
The solitaire diamond is securely held by a custom 6 prong solid platinum mounting (hallmarked) and as you can see the results are nothing short of spectacular.
Platinum is the superior metal to use in heirloom rings, not only for its durability but for its beauty. Your piece of history will stand the test of time to be passed down through the generations.
The diamond girdle is 6.1-6.5mm which faces up like a .90-1.00ct stone giving the ring a beautiful and very substantial presence upon the finger, though given the rare cut of rose cuts she weighs in at .50ct, the colour of this bespoke diamond is J and SI clarity.
This diamond ring is a true bespoke one of a kind piece - there is not another like it. It would make a truly amazing engagement ring.
This platinum solitaire ring is a size US 6, AUS/UK M and rises off the finger 7mm.
As the mounting is new there is plenty of room to resize up & down, please contact me for a quote if you require it to be resized prior to shipping.
For scale, the finger size of the model pictured is US 4/14 AUS/UK I.
